Flashy buttermilk buckskin two year old APSL Lusitano stallion with one blue eye (yes, blue). Lots of chrome - with black legs, secondary stripe (“dun” stripe) and stripes on his legs (primitive markings).
Rocha Azul CAL has gaits that are truly exceptional. Azul is extremely athletic - lateral movement, pirouettes and lead changes are part of his normal play.
Predicted height 15.3-16 hands.

We will have six foals born from the best Lusitano sporthorse and dressage bloodlines in Portugal. Our senior stallion Jade II Da Sernadin, bred by the leading Portuguese breeder Luis Pidwell (LP) and Jade is the sire of our coming 2024 foal crop, as is Onasis (Escorial x Diurna). Jade is a double grandson of Spartacus - (APSL) Recommended Stallion of Merit, out of the Recommended dam Camurca (LP), by the recommended stallion Campeador (LP). There have only been eight Recommended Stallions of Merit in the history of the breed. Tracing back to Xaquiro on both sides. Jade is currently competing at Prix St. George.
